Target Tuesday is back!

That's right, Target Tuesday is back! I don't always have tons of material for these posts but when I do, I promise to share! If you're new here, I like to share things I find at Target simply because I love Target like every other human on earth. It's nothing special and I don't post any big secrets, it's just fun things that I find and like to share!

So first of all, there was this:

Surely an unfortunate choice on Target's behalf to make these.

And then there were these:

And then, all at the same store, this:

Seriously? So funny! I saw them at 70% off a few weeks after this so I hope you guys held out for the deep discounts!

Here's another end cap I found on sale. I was tempted to go for those red and white frames, but I held strong!

I also came across this stool and spent about 3 minutes wondering if the sale price was worth the crooked leg.

It wasn't.

So this is why I haven't been doing Target Tuesday regularly:

Not much excitement going on. Surely they are losing business with all of those empty shelves?

Anyway, I stopped in over the weekend and found a way better selection. I finally bought some curtains for our master bedroom and will be revealing those soon!

Also, Threshold and Nate Berkus have done WONDERS for Target. I always love their stuff!

I really do love this tribal/hippie looking woven stuff, but I'm holding out for a deeper discount. Really!

I was actually shopping the other day and cut through the candy aisle and saw this cute yarn-wrapped tree. It was enough to make me stop and think about how ridiculous it would be to buy an Easter tree, but it was SO cute! It would probably be a really easy DIY, so if you need an Easter tree, here's a good source!

So that is what I've been loving at Target recently. Happy Tuesday!

Target Tuesday : Christmas Edition

It's Tuesday, so that means it's TARGET Tuesday! I've got some special Christmas or Holiday items to share today. Target has a unique way of approaching the holidays and I really like their products!

I had to seriously fight the urge to buy one of these warm mulled cider candles. They smelled SO good. The packaging was super cute and reminded me of what you would see in a fancy boutique. Way to go, Target!

I thought these bags were super cute! They weren't exactly in a Christmas theme, but they coordinated with some other Christmas items that were brightly colored. I'd love to get a gift in one of these bags!

These bowls were super cute, and they were dog and cat bowls! I bet someone out there is using them creatively for candy or something!

I also really wanted to buy the origami ornaments for Motley this year but at $7.99 I decided they were a little too steep for an ornament...for a dog. Regardless, they are super cute!

I love this rustic / campy theme that Target has going on. I could see all of this stuff in a woodsy lodge!

These were really cute, festive, but still simple.

I probably wouldn't buy these, but they reminded me so much of some homemade felt ornaments and decorations that my mom had while we were growing up. Too funny!

I like this twist on the snow globe! Who says it has to be round?

I saw these in the Target AD and I reallllly love these red baskets. If I had a wood fireplace, I would have totally snatched one up to put my logs in.

That's it for today! Do you buy your holiday decorations at Target? Share if you do!

It's back!

I'm ending my longest non-blogging streak since July with a much needed Target Tuesday! Christmas is fast approaching so if you're like me and like to get your shopping done early (I'm over halfway done already!) maybe you will see a thing or two for one of your loved ones. Or, maybe there's just something you HAVE to have yourself!

If you're joining in with me for the first time today, I like to do a feature called Target Tuesdays. I am in NO way sponsored by Target or asked to write this for them (I wish!) I just like to see what great new things they have and celebrate it here on the blog. Thanks for reading!

These baby wooden fox are so cute! I can see these in a nature-themed nursery or on a shelf in a cool office.

This deco bowl is awesome! Roughed up inside...

...and spiffed up outside! No one can sneak up on you with this one! (note my reflection)

I'm a sucker for baskets and this Threshold one is perfect for holding toys, towels, and blankets!

I was seriously impressed with this take on folding chairs. How fun are these!?

The fun punched design means no wet seats in rainy weather!

I've seen these 3-D letters all over, so snaps for Target to catching on. Pro tip - if red isn't your color, just spray paint it and make it original!

Same goes for this ampersand. Who doesn't love an ampersand!?

I could see this distressed chalkboard frame/wire basket next to the back door with notes and menus on it. Love!

And HOW COOL are these mugs?! At $6.99, these are great teacher gifts and small gifts for friends. Even ADAM loved them! : )

D is for Deal!

Know what this is?

A sweet acrylic tray!

Target was SPOT ON with these awesome graphic trays.

As always, I was enamored with the frames. Can't go wrong! I love the little one the most. :)

I've had my eye on this set for a while...these are so awesome! I would put flour, sugar, and doggie treats in these! :)

I hope you saw something you liked! Happy Tuesday!

Target Tuesday & scarves galore!

It's Tuesday!

I have a tiny dose of Target Tuesday here for you just because I was inspired while running through the aisles the other day.

As if we weren't already obsessed with Nate Berkus from Oprah, he has totally brought style to Target. How awesome is this end cap!? I'm dying over the black and gold pillow. I could use every single one of those items in my house. love it!

I'm venturing away from Target for a bit to drool over this Ikea chair. I would LOVE this red-orange chair without the ottoman to come live with me. I would pet it and keep it safe and comfy and love it forever. Please?

I'm sorry for the lack of Target finds this Tuesday, but I have some news that will hopefully be good for everyone!

My mom taught me to crochet when I was younger and since then it's been my go-to down time hobby in the fall. I go crazy crocheting up a storm and watching football in the fall and then I reap the benefits of all the scarves I've made when it finally cools down in Texas...around December.

This fall, I'm giving you the opportunity to reap the benefits too! I've decided to sell my skills and I'm offering to make custom 'cowls' for anyone who is interested. Here are some of my scarves/cowls that I sport during Autumn, Winter, and Spring:

These are easily my favorite winter items. They are just a big loop so you don't have the pesky scarf ends getting uneven or wrapped around anything. They are super soft and SUPER warm so you don't have to always wear the chunky sweater to keep you warm (keeping your neck warm helps the rest of your body warm up). I love how I can throw on a large coat or jacket and not have to worry about futzing with my scarf to make it look right. This cowl always stays in the right place and looks good!

I can custom make these in any color, or size, with stripes, fringe, etc. The starting price is $30 and only $20 if you supply the yarn. I can turn them over in a week or less!

These are great for keeping you warm at college football games, adding something to your outfit on a chilly day, and throwing on to keep you super warm during those snowy days.

I can also do infinity scarves, which is a continuous circle that is just longer so you can wrap it twice around your neck.

Comment here or email me at dmariebuchananATgmailDOTcom for any questions or if you're interested and I'd be happy to help you gear up for Fall!
