It's been a year!

                                         

I can't even believe it! It's been one year to the day that I hit 'publish' on my first (very wordy) post. I had dreams of making it a month on this blog and I've made it a whole year and close to 150 posts. Even just a year of looking back has been an eye opener to my style of writing, quality of pictures, and even just content. Thank you all for reading along and I'm excited to keep chugging on this blogging journey, wherever it takes me!

Here's a look back...

We have really come so far after just one year, I can't imagine how we'll progress over the next several years to come. Thank you all for reading and supporting me!

Christmas Swap with Jenni

I know, I KNOW I promised everyone a kitchen reveal this week, but due to the bad weather in DFW last weekend, the rug I ordered hasn't arrived yet! It's the finishing detail and I just can't bring myself to show the kitchen without it. Next week! Promise!!!

I do want to share this awesome gift I got from Jenni at Franky My Dear. She and I both signed up for a Christmas swap with Kasey at Life & Love with Mr. Wonderful and I'm SO glad we did! She made this awesome sign for Mark and I and I'll cherish it forever! 

She also included some chocolates from Indiana and I can't wait to try them! :) 

I think a Christmas swap is a great way to get to know other bloggers and I'm excited to get to know Jenni and her blog more from here on out!

A special five on Friday

This is my five on Friday this week:

One year ago, I was anxiously waiting for our rehearsal dinner to start and to finally walk down the aisle as a bride!

-two- 

one year ago, I was trying to breathe and make sure I had all of my ducks in a row for the upcoming BIG DAY!

-three-

one year ago, I woke up bright and early to start the day getting ready for the biggest event of my life to date.

-four-

one year ago, I laughed with friends and family all in one place and got to enjoy their support and love.

-five-

one year ago, I set off on a new adventure with my best friend and love of my life.

So happy to be called Mrs. Buchanan for a whole year. Happy Anniversary (on Sunday) to my love! I love you, Mark!
