travel diaries | be-UTAH-ful day one

We are BACK from our quick trip up to Park City, Utah. I never got around to mentioning our trip here before today but Mark and I decided we wanted to do another little vacation this year and fall colors and crisp weather were at the top of our lists...so, we chose Park City! We went during their slow season and couldn't have been happier with the quiet streets and easy-going atmosphere. We stayed 3 nights at the Marriott Summit Watch in downtown Park City and LOVED our hotel. Everything we wanted to do was walkable and we only used the car when we were exploring outside of town. If you follow me on snapchat (buchanandiana), you saw my extensive tour of our giant villa with fireplace and great view. Our room rate was just a perk of off-season travel! Loved it.

We had three pretty packed days so I'm going to break up my posts by day. On day one, we took the earliest flight out of Dallas and got to Salt Lake City by 10am. Beau was a TROOPER and we made it to Park City for lunch at Main Street Pizza and Noodle. We spent the day lounging, stretching our legs, and then went on a walk up the mountain adjacent to town. Dinner was right by our hotel at Collie's Grill and Bar and we ended the night early with Beau around 8pm. We had been up since 3:30 that morning!

*disclaimer: the majority of these photos aren't edited at ALL. I had some uploading issues that wouldn't let me edit, but it's ok because the colors and the landscape were so pretty. Everything you see here is how we saw it when we were there. Bright fall colors!
